KH601 Alumina Klaus catalyst is an excellent catalyst for Klaus units in natura gas processing plants, refineries, coking plants, H2S degassation and sub-dew point exhaust units such as MCRC, CBA or Sulfreen. Due to its high porosity, high surface area and thermal stability, it can achieve excellent conversion of H2S/SO2, COS and CS2 without sacrificing physical properties. Spherical activated alumina catalysts with high surface area and purity, low bulk density and optimized macroporosity ensure maximum sulfur compound conversion activity per reactor volume.
